Career Coaching

Career coaching can make the difference between working for a living and working in a job you enjoy. A job which puts a smile on your face, gives you purpose and brings satisfaction at the end of the day.

We often arrive in the jobs we do from our experiences, our knowledge and, dare I say it, how confident we are to explore wider options that might take us out of our comfort zones.

Working one to one with a Career Coach provides a safe space to consider your current career situation, reflect on how fulfilling this is, explore wider options and make decisions, with unbiased support, about your career future.

You might be at any stage in your career:

  • Just starting out
  • Bored of doing the same thing day in day out
  • Just wanting to consider some different options
  • Wanted to check whether where you are is where you want to be (time for a change, or not?)
  • Been or about to be made redundant
  • Considering self employment
  • Wanting a career change
  • Approaching retirement and wanting to consider your work options

NavigatorSome ideas about career direction, or just wanting a change, and would like support clarifying your intentions and moving on (including writing winning job applications, interview preparation)
Transitionthis may be to your first job, a job after redundancy or changing to a different type of work in later life
The benefits of a structured programme is that it can be tailored to your requirements at the early stages, you will have clarity about what you will achieve at each stage of the programme, and have a structure to monitor your progress.

Book as you go
If you wish to book appointments on an as you go basis, this is possible too, please discuss with me how this work.

Please note:
•      It is beneficial to arrange a half hour introductory session to discuss and agree whether entering into a coaching relationship is appropriate and whether we can work productively together.  The cost of this session is £30.00
•      The content of any coaching session is entirely confidential, unless there appears to be a breach of coaching ethics ie if there is a danger of harm to the client or others by their action, then there may be an obligation for information to be referred on, this would only occur with the client’s knowledge.
•      Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the appointment time, will incur a cancellation charge.

•     Payment for career coaching sessions is required in advance directly into back account

Special note:  Coaching sessions are not counselling sessions. Whilst some emotions may be heightened, it is the responsibility of the individual to seek specialist support if needed.

Wherever you are in your career, working one to one with a Career Coach enables you to take more control of your career and make any positive changes you choose.
